I am married to Angelina (MeiYing) and we have a boy, Asher, who we’re extremely grateful for.

A bit about me:
I have an active interest in church history, Christian books, the Bible, New Testament Greek and (baptist) reformed theology. I have studied theology, youth affairs and social research methods. I usually live in Melbourne, Australia, where I was brought up. Right now we live in a city apartment. We love it here, but when Asher gets a bit bigger we may outgrow it 
In 2006 we lived in Wuhan, China. Since then I’ve also been to Jinan and Kaifeng. I also enjoy the occasional trip to Singapore and Japan. I really want to go Denmark again, and hopefully Israel one day. Other interests are:
WordPerfect - a word processor less and less people have ever heard of.
SPSS - statistical package for the social sciences.
Qix - an old computer game.
chess - a game I wish I was better at.
Mandarin - a language I wish I was better at.
Supermemo - this helps me to remember things.
Languages generally - this gets me into plenty of stupid embarrassing situations in public.
