Ying and Asher take the train.

Ying and Asher take the train.

It was great to see Mum in Singapore on her way through to Denmark. This is a picture of her and Asher at Gloria Jean’s (apostrophe?).

Asher enjoys having sushi train a lot. First, he likes trains. Second, he doesn’t mind eating plain rice.
This was in Singapore. My Mum and Ying were there as well. I’ll post more photos soon.
I’ve just posted my first youtube video. This is it. It doesn’t look anywhere near as good as on screen or on the camera itself.
This is, from right to left, Willy, Asker, Else and Mum. I’m not in the photo, but I think I was in Denmark with them at the time, only about 3 years old.
The next generation (Ying and I) returned to Denmark in 2001. We watched the Islamic attacks on the World Trade Center (sic) live from Else’s loungeroom.
Hopefully we’ll return to Denmark again sometime soon. We really miss the family, food, and Denmark generally. Most importantly, we want to show Asher.
*** UPDATE My Mum says this photo is from a few more years ago than 33 because of various clues she has picked up from the photo itself (i.e. the Christmas tree etc). More like 35.

Not so long ago we had a picnic at Heidi Museum of Modern Art. Looking forward to returning there and doing the same.
Ying tells me Asher’s had a few growth spurts since I left Melbourne. That’s both good and bad. Of course the boy needs to grow, but I don’t want to miss out on too much of his growth while I’m away.
I got some photos taken the other day. So, when you look at me, who am I thinking about? Who do I miss from my home town?

I look forward to holidaying in Singapore again. I’ve posted a picture from the same evening on here before.
This is my family and my friend Marco.
God willing we’ll have an evening like this again in just a few months.

Last night Ying and I celebrated our 10th anniversary with a special dinner at spiga. It was great to catch up with everyone again. Thanks to all the Haslem crowd (& partners) for coming down.
