sorry, James

there is a huge mistake in this video which is all muslims believe that Jesus is a prophet from the God as prophet Mohammad. however, the only different between Christianity and Islam is that Jesus is a prophet not the God. Finally, we love Jesus and his mother and respect his massage.

thank you

Hi Mona,

Thanks for the feedback!

I understand totally the Islamic interpretation of Jesus. I trust I don’t need to rewatch the video to review what Mus’ab Hassan Yousef has to say on the subject, but I’m quite certain the son of a Hamas leader has a correct understanding of Islamic theology, and I wouldn’t assume the opposite on the grounds that he is no longer a Muslim.

As you are probably aware, I believe the Father, Son and Holy Spirit are all part of the same God.

You mentioned Mary in your post. Personally I think the Quran overemphasises Mary, due to the influence of the Christians who were in Mohammed’s area at the time. Nobody at the time knew that the reformation was yet to happen, which provided a suitable corrective against the adoration of Mary as practiced in Catholicism.

I would have to say that I’d have misgivings about whether the guy on the video was a Christian in the first place. It’s very easy to become a minister these days and not even be a Christian.

Academics and professors of religion have also been converted to Christianity from pure academic study. A great example is Eta Linnemann
